I am an collage artist and an instructor. And because I do both activities at home, I require two desk. One desk to work on collages and the other desk to create lecture presentations.  I tend to have lots of projects going on at one time. So my project board helps me stay on schedule.  I also collect images that inspire me and after collecting images for over 5 years, the collection can grow. So below is my way of organizing my images. I have a notebook for each category. It has really helped me stay focused.  I love to dream about the possibilities of life. So here is my creative visualization board. I paste any and everything on this board and hopes of them coming true. Then I have an area where I showcase those I admire. I like that you have your dream board up in your studio space. I have 2, but never get around to putting them up. I just did my latest one over break while on vacation with my family. Everyone did one.

I think the creative board is such a great idea! As is the showcase area, very organized workspace.

Love those subject notebooks for your inspiration images. I have mine catoegorized in folders, but I like your idea because, you are right. That collection grows and grows.
I think that the way your desk lookes is like the way my wifes closet looks but instead of all the desk stuff it is more like shoes and dresses And of course a box of some very strange stuff that im affraid to go through
one time I heared a strang buzzing noise comming from the box in her closset But I was affraid to look at what was in their I thought it was a noughty toy so I asked her later what could be making that noise I was trying to be very polite not to ebarrace her but I just did not want her battery to run down So I bagan to ask her about the same time I was asking She said Oh dang that is were I left that as she reached in and it was her cell phone on vibraite So I was the who felt embarased
Just thought I would share that moment
Well it was either share that or tell you about the time I set myself on fire in the middle of the highway
I figured this story more realated kind of well maybe not But some how it seemed like it was at the time I started
